Pretty good.
I'm back at home, where I can do more enhancements than I could do on the iPad. Specifically, I could only do the default font in the default size. Don't know why. Some things just don't work on the iPad browser.
My new avatar is the logo of a vehicle that the Ford Motor Company made when I was a toddler. I suspect the marketing geniuses who created it had their kids grow up to run that other site!
I sat and sipped iced tea until it was all gone and my lunch was settled down. Then, I headed out for the grocery store. I decided to go to the H-E-B location here in Friendswood. They have nearly finished remodeling the produce department. Before Harvey, they were busy remodeling the center of the store. They had things moving around drastically. And signs where things that used to be in the aisle were located now.
I got gas prices at RaceWay, Shell, Shell (the second Shell was about a mile away from the first and $0.20/gallon more expensive), Chevron, and H-E-B Fuel. It was after 3:00 PM when I was out, so I got the last challenge of the day.
I got about two dozen items at H-E-B, totaling $63.08 in all. A good bit of it was multipack bags of single serving chips from Frito-Lay for Isaiah's school lunch. I bought two of them (one "classic" and one "fiery"), a total of forty small bags in two big bags. I also got a dozen bottles of Cascade Ice coconut water, 1# of sliced mushrooms, two 1# bags of organic baby carrots, a stalk of organic celery, a dozen brown organic eggs, a half-gallon of Silk almond vanilla milk, a family pack of HEB oven roasted turkey breast lunchmeat, two eight-ounce boxes of Hormel Natural Choice smoked ham, a whole grade A chicken, and a value pack of bone-in pork chops.
When I was leaving the store, it was misting outside. The weather guessers say a lot more than mist tomorrow. I'm probably going to cocoon at home. Lots of stuff to do at home.
I came home, unloaded, and put away the perishable items. I'll let Isaiah bring in his chips, that's most of what's left.
I finished off a liter of Sodastream Diet Root Beer, and made a liter of Sodastream Diet Dr Pete. I've used about half of the Diet Dr Pete flavor concentrate so far.
The business room TV is on, of course: about forty minutes of "Judge Judy" on FOX 26, followed by going to ABC 13 for the local and national news.
Chelsea brought me in a plate of dinner: pork chops cooked with mushrooms and onions, macaroni and cheese, and broccoli. I ate it while watching the news. She fed herself turkey tacos. She's trying to lose weight, and succeeding. She's recognizing some of the disadvantages of being too fat.

Hi to: BGJam X2: Thanks for posting 2 days in a row and 2 posts in the same day. Thank you!!! WaWanderer: Welcome WaWanderer. Thanks for the pick-me up. You are glad that I started this thread. I am happy to hear that. GB forum is long gone. It does not matter. It is nice here. It takes time to adjust to finding your way around. I dont even know how to do the avatar. Someone gave me directions but I dont have the time right now. Get to it another day )) If you have trouble doing the avatar, and I figure it out, I will let you know how to do it. )))) bluwahoo: I love your avatar. Thanks for stopping by. Sneakers: I lost my gb phone app. yesterday (Monday). No gas price posting points for Monday and Tuesday. What a nerve of them. You might be posting but I really think the majority will be done. I will not be posting prices any longer. I have to tell you that it feels so good to ride by stations now and not have to bother to post for nonsense points. It feels good. SUVFan: Did you get to post gas prices through today (Tuesday)? I lost everything yesterday (Monday) including my phone app. That is the way that company is. Don't care anymore. This is a nice site. I am glad that I am over here now. Good night Everyone. I hope to see you again really, really soon. Thanks for stopping by.

Pretty good.
They are talking "possible flooding" according to the weather guessers. We have a flood watch that will start in the wee small hours of the morning to 7:00 AM Thursday. Houston is pretty flat, and it'll probably be the usual spots. You can get that going on with three inches here.
I've been in the business room pretty much all night.
What's been on the TV: Until 7:00 PM - ABC 13 local news 7:00 to 8:00 - One America News Network, "The Daily Ledger" 8:00 to 9:00 - One America News Network, "Tipping Point" 9:00 to 10:00 - FOX 26 local news 10:00 to 10:35 - ABC 13 local news After that - ABC 13, Jimmy Kimmel Live
I downloaded the proxy package for Boeing while I was listening to Tipping Point. Going to read it tomorrow so I can vote on the shareholder proposals and know what I'm doing. Also cleaned up my local collection of proxy packages for the companies I own in my taxable account. Probably will vote my Boeing stock tomorrow. It's going to be a good day for cocooning, with rain expected most of the day.
Not going to bother going to GasBuddy after midnight, nothing to do there without any forums. Will go to bed fairly soon.
Ate three slices of lowfat Colby Jack cheese along with my bedtime pills. Wiped out the last of my liter bottle of Sodastream Diet Dr Pete washing down the pills. Probably will make some more tomorrow morning to wash down my early morning pills.

My day is off to a fine start!
Patty, I'm glad you're liking the site. Yes, I was able to post prices yesterday and today. Also, the news articles are still accessible on the home page, from your favorites, or in Newsville and messages can still be posted there for points.
oldtrekee noted the same problem you had in the Roll call thread on the Ohio board.

Pretty good.
Got up after 9:00 AM, so I didn't get to see the morning news.
Turned on CNBC and made myself a liter of Sodastream Diet Cola. Finished off most of it, my Boeing KC-46 Pegasus tumbler is nearly empty. Used it to wash down my three morning pills.
Moved some money from my local bank's checking account (that doesn't pay interest, but it's free because I'm 62 or older) to my Capital One 360 checking account (which pays 0.2% APY on your balance).
Did some analysis on my taxable brokerage account. I had over $1000 in free cash in there, so I decided I needed a information technology company that was not a large-cap stock. Read my brokers' research and decided Seagate Technology (a mid-sized maker of storage devices) would be a good fit. So, I bought 17 shares of Seagate.
We had the house measured for blinds, and we have an estimate. AJ and I will be discussing it further.
I read Boeing's proxy statement and voted in the annual stockholder election online. Didn't agree with some of the positions recommended by the Board of Directors.
Watched the 11:00 AM news on ABC 13 and the noon FOX 26 news. Now back to CNBC. Chelsea wants me to go grocery shopping but she wasn't watching the weather forecast. Some of the weather guessers are talking as much as 7" of rain in the next 24 hours.
I've consumed the liquid parts of lunch: a pint of lowfat chocolate milk, a pint of OJ, and a 11.5 ounce can of V-8 juice. Haven't decided what to have after the news is over. I've got a number of possibilities. Probably will open the fridge and decide what looks good.
