gb is unfair just limited to cell phone users... You can still have 1625 points per day just using the website. That's enough for an entry or two. |

Thought I posted this in here yesterday, but apparently I didn't. 🙄 😐
"Yesterday [Thursday] I ended up with 8,425 total points. Got 6,000 for completing the monthly Challenge and an extra 400 for rating a Mr. Fuel station.
Today [Friday] I have 1,825 so far until the SNO (Stupid Night Owl) Challenge after 8 PM. 😝
Edit: It is after 8 PM and my daily points total is now 2,025."

2,125 today
I'm still working on the 6000 points for 100 regular prices - monthly challenge.
I too have noticed gas card winners are members who are not regular posters.
They have no consecutive days, and it is UNFAIR to those that have been longtime members.

bluwahoo - consider that the distribution of entrants to the Gas Buddy draw quite likely has a huge number of people with only a small number of points and much fewer than that. So it's more likely for one of those to win the drawing on any day (even if the member only had one entry) than for one of us to win. Sorry, that's just statistics.

Because apparently GB is finally becoming aware of all the falsely reported prices. With this challenge GB wants to encourage its members to post good prices in place of the fake ones.

2,025 total points today. @ Zoe - I did post correctly as always. There are a few locals that post whatever
floats their boat. I have 8 stations within 4 miles of my house and always checking and posting the prices.

Got an extra 1,000 points today for watching a video titled HUM. My sound was down on my cell phone, so didn't hear what it was about, but I did watch the video and received the points. 👍 🙆

I just watched a "Hum" video 4 times, but didn't get any points, they owe me about 5000 points now, I never seem to get credited for video points.

Not a single badge. Not even level 1 on the Grand Price Master special challenge, which means he has reported less than 5 prices, in those 23 days of membership. 2000 points all-time, so the most entries he coulda posted is two.
Geez. Even game arcades let you have a comb or small bag of Skittles™ for 100 tickets won on Skeeball.I checked that one out. He managed to get the "In It To Win It" challenge which was to enter the prize draw for the very first time on the same day as he won it! Pretty obvious that these prize draws are getting really suspicious as to if an actual Gasbuddy member is winning any of them. I haven't won one in over 14 years on there and I've sometimes entered as many as 50 entries in one day. |
