1,000 points for posting 10 gas prices April 1 - APril 7 - a weekly challenge.
6,000 points for posting 100 regular prices during April - a monthly challenge.

You can accrue lotsa points in a hurry with the special challenges, but I run across an incredible number of incorrect prices when I'm looking at the pump while posting prices. It's obvious that the same people don't even drive by the stations when they post.

It's obvious that the same people don't even drive by the stations when they post. That's true. A problem I see regularly in my area on incorrect pricing is mostly by GB Direct. They like to post cash prices in the credit list, I guess to try to pull people in. |

I find several posters here posting incorrect prices. I leave notes in the review a station comments for them. I ride to the stations and post from the pump, while they sit in their recliner stealing prices or making up prices.
GB Direct was posting 3-4 times per day on the Raceway stations. Have not seen them post at all since the GONEBAD site changed.

We had so much trouble with our landline phone always out of service and monthly rate increasing all the time, we finally got two smart phones and had the landline disconnected. Works great now and most everyone in my area has quit using landlines. |

Today's Opinion Poll at the old gas buddy site: What type of device do you usually use to input prices on GasBuddy?
Desktop/Laptop Computer ..or... Tablet/iPad ..or... Smartphone ..or... Combination ..or... Other
I'm thinking they are taking a vote on which device is used often and getting rid of the site and apps that are not used by a majority.
Removing a reporting device could mean some of the members who have been around for years may lose daily points if they don't already use the phone app.
Just my opinion.
