2020 Masters Round 3 Update
As I expected, DJ was't done. He leads at -16, so Tiger starts tomorrow 11 shots off that pace, 7 shots out of 2nd (3 players are tied for that spot), in 20th place.
At this point, salvaging a top 10 finish would be impressive. Five players currently share 10th at -8. So if Tiger could put up a 67 tomorrow and get to -10, he might squeeze into the top 10.

2020 Masters Round 4
It's not happening for Tiger today. Through 10, he's +2 for the day, -3 for the tournament for a 6 way tie for 29th place. Jordan Speith, who made the cut on the level par cut line, just made 4 consecutive birdies on 11-15 to join that group at -3, so there are scoring opportunities available.
Rory is now -11 through 9 and if he could shoot a 30 on the back, he might play himself into contention. Tiger had much the same chance from where he started the day but went the wrong way.

2020 Masters Round 4 Update
The 12th is not going well for Tiger. He put his tee shot on the same bank so many others have, including his competitors last year. So he hit his 3rd from the drop area, landing on the green but with enough spin to draw it back off the green and down the bank into the drink. Then he got cute and dropped in a bunker, but put that into Rae's creek, too. He managed to put his 7th shot on the green and got down in two from there for a 10. So that dropped him all the way to +4, tied with Jimmy Walker for 57th out of 60. He's currently 4 strokes ahead of Sneds, who's dead last,

2020 Masters Round 4 Update
The ubiquitous Jim Nantz, ever the stat man, reported that the 10 on the 12th was the first double digit score Tiger has carded as a pro. So, though dubious, it's yet another record.

2020 Masters Round 4 Update
That 10 sure woke Tiger up! He went on to birdie 13, 15, 16, 17 and 18 to recover to only a +4, 76 for the day and -1 for the tournament. Currently, that puts him in a 6 way tie for 38th place, inclding Lee Westwood, Billy Horschel, Paul Casey and Tony Fineau.
DJ still leads, currently -17, and playing 13, so he figures to go further into the red, so Tiger is likely to finish more than 16 strokes out of first place.
Tiger started this tournament with a solid 68, but got progressively worse as the tournament wore on, managing a 71 in round two followed by level par in the 3rd before imploding to the 76 today.

2020 Masters Round 4 Update
In his post round interview with CBS, Tiger explained that his problems on the 12th were caused because he "committed to the wrong wind." He said the wind changed from what the first two players in his group faced, which was from the left, and that caused his ball to come up short, bouncing off the side of the bank back into Rae's Creek. Then, he said, he got to experience hitting more shots into the creek.

2021 ScheduleI was surprised last week that Tiger did not play at Torrey Pines. He's had a lot of success there and had loosely committed to playing there and at Rivera (he's the host) in a couple of weeks. That changed because he apparently had yet another back surgery. So he skipped Torrey Pines and will not play at Riviera. The story at that link suggests Tiger might play next at the Mexican Open in a few weeks. I was watching the Phoenix Open coverage today and they said that the Mexican Open was being moved to Bradenton Florida so that makes it more likely that Tiger would head across his home state instead of traveling internationally. After that, Bay Hill is a possibility and then the Players Championship leading into the Masters in April. The procedure was apparently to clean up fragments from a damaged disc. Rory McIntyre is close to Tiger and explained:

I'd been meaning to update this topic with Tiger's conversation with Jim Nantz at Riviera GC on Sunday. Nantz asked him about his plans to play at The Masters. Tiger said he hoped he'd be able to play. Right now, that appears to be the least of Tiger's concerns due to this breaking news story:
Tiger Woods suffers multiple leg injuries in single-car accident in Los Angeles
The news reports I've been hearing on TV say that Tiger was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle he was driving at about 7 am this morning LA time. Reportedly the car hit something, possibly the median in the boulevard style street, just missing a telephone pole, and ended up rolling down an embankment. Debris is scattered for hundreds of feet along the street before the car left the road. The front of the car is absolutely crushed and initially it was reported that he was rescued with the "jaws of life". That is being conflicted. The accident occurred very close to a golf course but it's unknown if that was his intended destination. He's now in surgery at UCLA.
There are a lot more questions than answers.
Hopefully he's able to make a full recovery.

Capt. James Powers of the LA County Sheriff's Department says that the jaws of life were not used to extricate Tiger from the vehicle and believes Tiger was conscious when the first responders arrived at the scene.

CNN has an update as of 5 hours ago that details what's known so far about Tiger's accident and related injuries. The article references a Tweet from Tiger's account that describes the results of the medical procedures: Given the apparent obliteration of the engine compartment of his vehicle, that sounds like about the best outcome one could hope for.

Earlier this week -- ironically, Masters week -- officials released the data recorded by the black box in the KIA Tiger was driving. When he lost control, apparently he was driving 84-87 mph in a 45 mph zone. His car was still traveling 75 mph when it impacted a tree. It's easier to understand the damage to the vehicle. Tiger is very lucky he wasn't injured worse or even killed. The linked article notes that Tiger is now home in Florida.

Post Accident Rehab Update
A lot of updates are rolled together at this link, including one from his next door neighbor, Ricky Fowler. Bottom line, Tiger is trying some how, some way to come back. Impossible? Probably.
