Opening day tomorrow and the Rays have a sellout. Probably the only one this year!

Lucky for the Rays the Sox pulled Sale after an incredible six innings.

Today, March 31, 2018 the Rays are going to honor the first team of Ray players and coaches from 20 years ago. This as the Rays start their 21st season. Looking forward to the highlights of the ceremony and comments from these players.

Interesting to see Boggs in a Tampa uniform for it, and whatever that was on his head. He certainly seemed to like all the attention. Think he has stopped waiving to the crowds yet?

I did enjoy seeing some of the players and highlights from the very first Rays team and game. Wish we had some of those players on the team today!

Any time Chris Archer starts a game, the Rays have a good shot at a win.

Umm, well, not so much against Boston, Tes. I'm going to miss playing Tampa. That was fun after that first "Cora-nary." I do expect that Tampa will finish with a better winning percentage than they have right now, and Boston's will not stay this lofty. But Boston was only 6-1 against Tampa and 2-0 against the other Florida team. We get the Yankees next. That may not go quite as well.

The Rays finally won a game. It was against the Chicago White Sox on April 9.

While some of the Ray's players are really good, with the management only concerned about getting a new stadium and trading all of the highest hitters from last year away it is difficult for me to get interested in the team this year. Maybe I'll get more enthused about the Rays after the hockey playoffs. Time will tell.

Kevin Kiermaier tore a ligament in his thumb while sliding into 2nd base. Now he needs surgery and is placed on the DL.

Seems every year Kevin Kiermaier ends up on the DL for several weeks. Great player. Give his all. But seems to be injury prone. The Rays won yesterday.
