No photos of L.V. Lived in L.A. for 5 years. Was not into pix at the time. Do have one very close to home. It's of the NH mtns where my home is: NH's White Mountains.Click on the photo to enlarge it. It's from the summit of Mt Avalon, in Hart's Location, NH Center is US Rt 302. Saco River 136 mile/219 km long into Maine to the left and on the right, the Conway RR w/its sightseeing excursions and dining trains. Another train, The Cog RRtakes you to the top of 6,288'/1,916 m Mt Washington. This is an adventure of a lifetime!

Not sure if I'll be able to contribute every week, but here is a picture I took of the Parliament Building in Budapest from the deck of the riverboat cruise ship I was on in 2015: Attachment Deleted

I think you could sell that one! What would be neat is to give the lat/long, so we can go look at the place on Google maps, etc.

I'll need to look on the map to see exactly where that is. It was on a driving trip to see (and shoot) some almost-ghost-towns of north central Nebraska and it was very much a "QUICK! STOP!" type of thing when I saw the scene. I'll try to find it on a map when I have some time tomorrow.

Beautiful scenery!! I love taking pictures of churches with different backgrounds, especially when we have weather systems coming through.

Okay, I looked on the map, trying to retrace our driving path, and I can't find it. We were in the general vicinity in and around Boyd County, NE. Hopefully at the meeting this Saturday at least one of the others who went on that trip will be there and I will ask. The big problem is that very few of the roads in that area have the Google street view, and it's hard to see that kind of detail from the zoomed in aerial view. Ya know, I've been known to poo-poo those cameras which record the exact location of a photo, but it might have been handy in this case! Film at 11. (Pun intended!)
