The basic problem for me was that my hosting service, Photobucket, started charging $400/year for supporting calls from other sites. I had never looked at Photobucket. I took one look and decided to stick with what I have now.
My extravagance when it comes to software is Adobe Creative Cloud, which I use a lot. Other than Creative Cloud and FOSS applications (the two extremes of software), I pretty much have one program, a genealogy software package.

When I run the Web usage logs for my non-GBO Web site, I'm seeing GBO popping up as being some of my busiest links.

Okay, I'm ready to delete any photo attachments I may have just hanging around. Can anyone Please give me some instruction on locating and deleting stored photos? * I have uploaded about 3 pictures for my avatar so far. Not sure if those are the types of pictures choking off the available storage space. I'm willing, if someone can please point me in the right direction. Thank you. * Regards.

Don't worry about "avatar" photo, it seems to be counted separate. It's the "attachments" when you post a message that are counted against the 200MB.
As far as I know, only people with special admin powers can tell where your "attachments" are. It would be nice if I could find a way to coax CampKohler to give me limited admin powers so that I could perhaps automatically scan through that page and PM a list to each user who has an attachment every once in a while, perhaps weekly or monthly or something. Then from that email one can click on the exact location of each post with the attachment and they can choose when to delete them when they deem the attachment is no longer needed. I think this is probably the cleanest way?
If there is some other way short of just abandoning the use of attachments, and leave CampKohler no space for himself to attach pictures... then that would be helpful if someone finds it!
Looks like we're up to 9MB free... good to have some breathing space once more...

I HAVE THE WAY TO FIX OUR ATTACHMENTS - WILL soon START a thread CALLED "HOW TO..." Hopefully, we won't have to have this problem again.
I fixed my photos on just 2 game threads yesterday (I have a lot of posts) and by today we went from 2 MB's available to 9 MB's available. Woo hoo; it works! I'm still doing more! If you want personal conversation, please send me a message.

Photobucket news! Even if you want to move on to another service, what you have already on PB may begin working again due to this Chrome and Firefox trickery.

That seems like a really backhanded way to "fix" the problem, alas I'm sure people will do whatever it takes to get it to work.
Alas only *your* firefox/chrome will see the proper pictures. Other people will still see the broken picture unless they too have the addon to lie to photobucket.
So this is only a "bandage" of sorts as it "works around" then restrictions that photobucket put in place to block this sort of usage. Make your own judgment whether this is a "fix" or not...

Yes, I agree: it is a poor solution.

There is too much competition in the free online photo hosting site world. Photobucket established a brand name but they shot themselves in the foot with their prices. Too many free hosts out there to stick with PB. This forum's Support board lists several (I linked them previously). There are plenty more besides those links. Makes no sense to stick with PB when the competition is just as good and free. PB thought the Ebay sellers were trapped and couldn't easily relink their pics. They were mistaken. They also thought the casual photog blogger with a zillion pics stored was trapped. They thought the bloggers would be overwhelmed if the links break. Wrong. That is not what happened

Eh...don't abbreviate PB.
It's Pro Boards. err Photo Bucket.
err...
Peanut Butter. Yeah, that's it, peanut butter. Jelly Time.

It is clear from context that I'm talking about Photobucket. Therefore it is acceptable to abbreviate it to PB.

Actually it is muddy from context. We're dealing with proboards here limiting space too by limiting space and charging for more space - that $3/month is additional cost as well. Both services are "preventing" free use of disk space that is needed for photographs.

I finally was able to load my old photo from the dark side and now I feel much better without that lame picture.

I like to change my avatar 2 - 3 times a week. Today is Jack Nicklaus, my golfing hero growing up
Thanks Jack
