IMO this government is doing nothing to take care of peoples business which they were elected to do. Refusing to take up any of the House bills to vote on, refusing to comply with rules of their office as in providing full disclosure of finances ... even refusing to answer questions really. They don't need to shut down the government as in the past , as they have effectively done so by just not doing anything.
Not taking up in the Senate bi-partisan bills to try to secure our elections from foreign interference is treasonous. (or traitorous?)

Unbelievable 19 more people dead from shooter taking a weapon into a crowded area and mowing them down. Yet nothing is done. It is sick. The gun people always say "if l were there and had my gun it would end early" no! that is now proven wrong,, again. This time a full carry state and many must have had guns on them, but he successfully killed more people than ever since 10 years ago. So that argument no longer can be defended as l have been told so many times by many people in these chat places. Especially remember one fellow in Texas.

It continues. The police said they stopped the shooter within a minute in Ohio today, yet 9 died. 9 died. Maybe more as day goes on. Yesterday 22 died in Texas, 3 died in Ca last week. IMO the NRA is fully responsible, controlling our legislators and preventing any gun laws being passed that would stop these tragedies. Not to say that others aren't ALSO responsible.

IMO when they say your favorite food made "healthier", they mean that it no longer has your favorite taste.

A news article up on That Other Place states that more people (over half) pay for thsie gas with debit cards, not credit cards.
I don't get this. I normally use cash (at cash-friendly stations taht don't require prepay) but when I use plastic, I use credit cards. I refuse to use debit cards.
Debit cards have the same disadvantage as credit cards (it doesn't feel like real money, so it's easy to overspend) and an additional one: Debit cards lack teh strong legal protections credit cards have against fraudulent use. Plus, if your credit card, or its information is stolen, it only affects an account that you settle up with once a month. A stolen debit card can empty your back account immediately.
Part of the reason mentioned that people prefer debit cards is that they tend to carry a balance on credit cards. The solution is simple: don't do that! pay off the balance each month, as I do. Or use cash.

Having paper plates saves me a lot of work, so now l would like to try paper clothes. Same reason. There was a brief period in the late '60s I think it was, when there was paper clothing. I had one. It was green with flowers, if I recall.

IMO we cannot tolerate nor could we survive another term of trump. I am worried he won't do something even more drastic as he sees the end of his reign nearing.

Grocery stores should get their ads out on time or same day so shopping lists could be made.

IMO we cannot tolerate nor could we survive another term of trump. I am worried he won't do something even more drastic as he sees the end of his reign nearing. Then the Democrats need to nominate a candidate that Judeo-Christian believers who uphold, value and support the right to life of the unborn, can support and vote for in good conscience. No Democratic candidate (especially not Hillary) met that requirement in 2016 and no one currently running for the Democrats, meets that requirement for 2020. An honest candidate (again, that was not Hillary Clinton) would help as well.
Fears that Trump will do something drastic are overblown. IMO.

IMO politics and religion should not mix. Judeo christians should practice their beliefs without trying to rule women's bodies and leave government to govern ALL people, not just christians.
