As a member since 2001, the primary purpose was always to post gas prices. I'll continue to do that from the app, though I've long since stopped trying to post every single price, especially while driving. Won't have much need to go to the website, unless there's an MSL update to be made.

I plan to continue. I always check prices before I make gasoline purchases. I am in the habit of posting daily prices and I have submitted hundreds of stations and updated hundreds to the Master Station List over the years. I plan to continue with with the posts and MSL updates, along with keeping my fuel log.

I have about 2,000 tickets remaining. Maybe a month or so after the END date, I will go spend them all. I have about 1200. Don't go spending yours the same day I spend mine!!!!! I will make sure of it!

Will still go there daily (after nearly fifteen years, hard habit to break) to post prices and see what the place looks like after the Neutron Bomb goes off ... but all the time I used to spend there after posting will now be spent here ... I really like this place, it has a good feel, and I like checking [Members] tab ... looks like over 350 (many familiar names) and growing fast!

Yep, lots of familiar names and oddly lots of UNfamiliar ones that had been at thesitethatshallnotbenamed just as long (nearly 15 years) as I have.

Those gas prices on the other site are still useful. Everything in life changes, and we choose how to react to those changes!

I will certainly go back on or about March 28 just to see what remains and how it functions. I ***might*** stop in periodically to check a price or a pricing trend in another area of the metro area or across the state if I am traveling, but reliability of price posts has been spotty at best for years. I'm in an area where I have easy access to the city of Minneapolis and several suburbs, depending on which direction I go. I have found over the years that sometimes there is a station (or cluster of stations) within my range that has a lower price. Where that is has varied greatly, so the gas price map has been an important help to me in deciding where to go without having to drive all over the place to look at prices. It's sad that now that will be a lot less reliable. Also, from our local "COUPONS" forum I learned which gas chains accept competitor coupons and how to find them online, as well as using the SA fuel and reward cards for extra savings. I hope I'll be able to continue that on my own, or maybe here. That's the kind of thing that the new owners have no interest in b/c they can't monetize it. I've always felt that b/c I benefit from what others have posted that it's my responsibility to do my part to post prices and whatever else I might know that could help someone else. Now I'm torn between that view and not wanting anything else to do with them. I wonder if DI is turning over in his grave. He did so much and spent so much time developing that site and posting helpful information for others, only now to have it trashed by the new owners.

I am very displeased with them (who shall remain nameless) but I will probably go back to see if I can keep adding to my consecutive days. If that goes away completely, so will I. I totally understand how some people will close the book completely on or before March 27.

I will continue to post prices from the pump. I have 8 stations within 2 miles south of my home,
3 stations within 3 miles north of my home, and 4 stations 3 miles east of my home.
It's not difficult to leave and keep the site reported with correct prices. There are many posters
here that post any and every price and not the right price.
It usually takes about 35-40 minutes when I post from the pump at all the stations.

I'm gonna keep posting prices as I find that site is a useful and money saving tool, especially when I'm on the road.

In my reporting area (north and west of Johnson Space Center in Houston), the main thing I seem to do is confirm prices other GasBuddies have reported.
There are some posters who never comprehend the plainly posted signage at the station about modes of payment accepted and what they cost to use.

Which unnamed organization? Gas Buddy or Waze? Do you mean Twitter or Instagram or Printerest or Facebook? Or MySpace or RallyPoint? As someone posted on Gas Buddy, if that's what you mean, why are you so embarassed or upset to refer to it by name? I enjoyed my time there even though I haven't been a daily user for quite a while, mainly because I pretty much know my local gas price structure. I don't post to much of their topics but I do check it out once in a while. Why wouldn't I use the site if I want to know about gas prices? Or will this new site start to post Albuquerque fuel prices so I have a reason not to use Gas Buddy, or to not have to use two different websites? Yes, I will go back to MySpace but maybe not to Facebook on or after March 27th. I suspect you are "GasBuddy_Member" in disguise, given the condescending nature of your posting. Everyone knows that the first organization you named is the "unnamed organization." And you have to remember that "GasBuddy" is a registered trademark. Got to respect intellectual property, even as we totally disrespect the cretins behind it.
