Your status with the unnamed organization?

I'm in an area where I have easy access to the city of Minneapolis and several suburbs, depending on which direction I go. I have found over the years that sometimes there is a station (or cluster of stations) within my range that has a lower price. Where that is has varied greatly, so the gas price map has been an important help to me in deciding where to go without having to drive all over the place to look at prices. It's sad that now that will be a lot less reliable.

Also, from our local "COUPONS" forum I learned which gas chains accept competitor coupons and how to find them online, as well as using the SA fuel and reward cards for extra savings. I hope I'll be able to continue that on my own, or maybe here. That's the kind of thing that the new owners have no interest in b/c they can't monetize it.

I've always felt that b/c I benefit from what others have posted that it's my responsibility to do my part to post prices and whatever else I might know that could help someone else. Now I'm torn between that view and not wanting anything else to do with them. I wonder if DI is turning over in his grave. He did so much and spent so much time developing that site and posting helpful information for others, only now to have it trashed by the new owners.
