I tried to get a picture of Willie when he was young and clean shaven and haircut to come up to this site, but couldn't do it. I know how to bring pictures from my own but not from the Google places.
So how is everyone this morn? : Looks like the place is getting a make over. I like the new place tho l was never in the old one, it sounds like it is a lot better here. I like it here anyhoo.
Off to get an ultrasound today but first l copied what l wrote on my thread soes to let ya know how my day ended yesterday. Before my nap and it was a long one too after all this:
I rode my scooter home and almost there when the lights on it dropped to next to nothing. On a full charge when l started out. So l got stuck at a light when l started to go slightly up hill it just died. A couple stopped and got out of their truck trying to figure out how they could help me. They nor l knew how to take scooter apart, and mine is much larger than hers is, so I decided to try to baby it home. It went slow and slower but would not go up any slight rise, so l'd have to switch it over to free wheeling and get off and push it up out of the streets. Very dangerous and tiring. But l finally got into our complex and passed a maintenance man on his golf cart and he just looked at me, so l kept pushing and got to the office area where a UPS truck was parked delivering a package. That driver asked "Are you having trouble ma'am, can l help?" and gratefully this 87 year old out of breath lady accepted his offer to push my scooter the rest of the way to my apt. About another 200 steps away at least. At first he told me to sit and steer but that kept engaging the auto brake, so l got off and helped steer and push. He even turned it around and backed it into my parking spot in my apt when l mentioned l did that, rather than abandon me at my door. Such a special kind young man. I asked his name and called the office and told them. I also called my son in Sacramento and told him how he saved me. He called and spoke to the young man's supervisor. The reason l called my son is that l know he helps people especially elderly and l wanted him to know that people reciprocate for me.

I'd hug ya, too, Tru, but Mrs. Geezer might not view it kindly. Dang, I'm tired of bein' arm candy.
Y'know, a jug of our special corn squeezin's woulda givin' you the strength to carry that scooter up Mount Everest. Heck, if y'd a called we coulda flown over in WonderTub an' picked you an' that scooter up an' flyed ya home.

Well Tru. Sure glad you eventually made it home safe n' sound. A "Pox" on that maintenance guy at your apartment complex. What kind of person would do that? But "Kudos" to the UPS guy that came to your rescue. Yup! I sure know what Willie looked like way back when, since I've been following him for a very long spell. He's still one of my favorites...... "Hugs" to ya Tru...........

Tru, I'm thinking that it might be about time to replace your batteries. What say you? I bought $200 worth yesterday and can't lift them out of the trunk of my car. Son not due to return til Mothers' day l presume. But remembered the volunteer organization here in Napa that put together a chair for me, called and they said they'd contact a volunteer to see if he could install them for me. I read the instructions and know l can't do it. Store wanted $50 and l'd rather donate some to organization to help. Supposed to hear today.

Howdy There, Geezers!
Glad ta see yer gettin' help with yer scooter, TRU. Yah, I love hugs, too, so that's why I share them whenever I can. WonderTub is a great means of transport, 'cause it's got all newer technology than even the govmint can come up with. An' the best part is that we've installed a cloaking device so it cain't be picked up on radar. We've been able to escape the revenooers on numerous occasions, an' that frustrates the he** outa them! (They never see us comin' or leavin')
{{{note to self: explore cloaking device for the stills}}}
Pass the jug. I wanna take the edge off my sobriety before I hit the hammock for my morning nap!

Oooh, geezer! A road trip, ya say? I call shotgun! I have a really nice pick-a-nick basket packed with lots of yummy vittles for our trip. Tru, when we get back from our trip, I will help you with the curtains. If you have the material, I can do the sewing. Glad ta hear you got some new battries for yer scooter. Can't have ya out pushing that thing around any more. *Gives Tru a patent pending Zoe Bug Hug!* Have a Thankful Thursday!
