Once again yesterday, I got an extra 400 points for reviewing a Pilot station and another 400 points for reviewing a Flying J station.
Got 500 points for another monkey survey, which I did not complete because it had nothing to do with gasoline or GB, but still received the points.
Received 1,000 points yesterday for completing the "Fuel Up for School" Challenge for the third week of September.

Got the extra 1,000 points today for completing the "Fuel Up for School" Challenge for the fourth (and last) week of September.
I was able to complete four out of four weeks of the Short Bus Challenge for an extra 4,000 points in September. 😎 👍 😁

It appears only 1 post per night counts towards the Midnight Rider. So you have to post 13 out of 31 nights.

True, Pigeon007, but 13 out of 31 is a whole lot easier to achieve than 20 posts in 20 days, Monday through Friday between 6-9 AM for the Short Bus Speshul Challenge. 😋 😊

Pilot and Flying J challenges today. 400 points each

Pilot and Flying J challenges today. 400 points each I hate these challenges. All of these stations are 20 miles or more from my house! My comments in the review are getting nastier each time. It's ok to have one say every 6 months, but not every 3 weeks. Where's the same challenges for Shell, Exxon and Texaco?

Got 800 extra points for rating a Pilot and a Flying J (400 points each)...AGAIN. I like getting the extra points, but I agree with TheFlashman. Getting the same challenges every 3-4 weeks is getting a bit old. Would be nice to get some different stations offered in the challenges sometimes.

It's ok to have one say every 6 months, but not every 3 weeks. Where's the same challenges for Shell, Exxon and Texaco? My sense is that Pilot/Flying J/Mr Fuel are commonly owned and that the company pays GB for highlighting them the various ways they do, including via these special challenges. No proximity is required to rate the stations, so as long as I've been to the station fairly recently, if I feel like I can give a fair rating, I do. For a while Bell Stores and Phillips 66 were frequent fliers, too, but I have not seen either in quite a while. Gashole has noted Wawa challenges from time to time, too. I travel over to PA sometimes, and at least a couple of times there's been an active Wawa challenge I was able to complete -- download their app was the most recent one, I think. I still believe all the points should be available to everyone the way it was originally, but GB decided that one against me years ago and doesn't appear to be looking back.

I haven't completed the Midnight Rider Challenge yet. Although I should have, because I have posted every evening for 14 nights so far between 8 PM - Midnight. For some reason two (2) of those postings have not counted. Typical GB BS stuff happening with this. I'm just glad that didn't happen with the Fuel Up for School (Short Bus) Challenge where it was 20 posts in 20 days Monday through Friday without exception and no room for error or missed posts.
By the way, as I have stated before in here, I actually set alarms in my cell phone in order to not miss posting during all the weird times, like the SNO and others. That's why it's weird and off-putting that I didn't complete this Midnight Rider Challenge in the first 13 nights of October, especially since the posts were made each night within the given time frame. 😐

I wonder if you might have crossed the state line and ended up in Eastern time after Midnight eastern and thought you were still 11pm Central??

Finally finished the Midnight Rider challenge last night. It took me 15 days instead of 13 to complete though.
So I am one of the GB members who has a clown badge for this challenge and am one of the "exactly 500 more than" yesterday that GasHole mentioned in the Points thread. No state line crossing that late in the day/evening. At least not during this challenge. All of my posts for this challenge were done between 8-9 PM.

Indeed, Mr. Fuel's are listed on Flying Pilot's site, i.e.;pilotflyingj.com/stores/731/However, on PFJ's history page, it describes it as a "partnership" started in 2014. PFJ's wikipedia makes no mention of it, as wikipedia is want to do. It does mention partnership with "Road Ranger" and "Town Pump". I wonder if those vaguely suggestively named stations have a ratings challenge, also? Mr. Fuel locations show up on Pilot/FlyingJ's fuel search lists and appear to have no stand alone website or other web presence. I had never heard of Road Ranger or Town Pump. Googling the former, I found locations in IN. I searched Pilot/Flying J's gas locator for IN, and several RRs were listed, but they list prices for only diesel fuel. So I googled RR and learned that: I don't know if the GB special challenge in Indiana includes points for RRs but doubt it due to the limited nature of the fuel offerings. Town Pump appears to be a Montana operation according to this 8 year old story. The only Pilot/FJ connection I found was that 3 FJs and possibly 6 Pilots were shifted to Town Pump (retaining the original brand name) to satisfy concerns about the Pilot/FJ merger that was happening at the time. It seems doubtful this would be included in the Pilot/FJ rating challenge, but might have it's own from time to time. Edit: I tried finding a Town Pump in Montana searching by zip code on the GB App. A google search showed there should be one at 415 Whitehall in zip 59759. The search showed an Exxon at that location. So I googled the address and see that the C-store is branded Town Pump, but the gas station is an Exxon. That's a strong indicator that Town Pump would not be part of a Pilot/FJ special challenge.

From Master Station List:
Town Pump (Exxon) 3969 Grand Ave Cross: Shiloh Rd Billings - West , MT 59102
Shows as Town Pump in the app.
