From Master Station List: Town Pump (Exxon) 3969 Grand Ave Cross: Shiloh Rd Billings - West , MT 59102 Shows as Town Pump in the app. So here we see GB being inconsistent. Maybe the App follows the MSL, maybe that was the source for whoever structured the app, who knows what else it could be? Considering that both of those Exxons do not have a price reported on the app today (I just checked both and remember the one I noted above had no price that day, either), it's obvious they're in areas with little, if any, GB coverage. I'll note also that the Flying Js and Pilots near me usually have an "owner" post when I show up to make an update. That, too, signals a different management system, though my sample is awfully small and isolated. |

"GB_direct" has been added-to/replaced-with things like "DataFeed" and "Owner".
Yes, that's it. Either an employee posts the info using that account or the company's system is automated to post the information. Regardless, it's a management decision to make sure their stations' prices are updated without relying on GB volunteers. Virtually all of the "Owner" prices I encounter are correct. I know others have had a different experience. |

Tank Full appears to be US members only. Didn't show up at home and didn't show up later when I went over to Buffalo in the evening. So the location didn't seem to matter.

I got the Love's Review Challenge this morning. Was wondering if and hoping I could do it on Thursday to double up on the Be Tankful Challenge.
GasHole, do you happen to know if this challenge is for today only or will it be up for the whole week to complete? Also, how can we find out this info if it doesn't say on the notice we get for the challenges? I am currently on my phone. Do I need to view the challenge offers from my computer to see the time limits?

Well, not knowing how long the Love's Review Challenge lasted and not wanting to miss my chance to get the extra 400 points from it, I did it last night. So I got an extra 400 points from that challenge and also completed the Be Tankful Challenge as well for another 1,000 extra points.
Was really hoping to wait until Thursday to do the review so it would cover both of those challenges and the regular Thursday review all in one swoop.
Oh well. It is what it is. Right? *le sigh*

Well, the pro-rated doesn't require a 'review' only a 'rate' so your test would not be definitive. However had these Ontarians had the Tank Full challenge I can't imagine them not going ahead with the review to get the points.

I've been watching some profiles of Canadians to be absolutely certain, since, of course, Thursday's review challenge will, if completed regularly, will automatically default someone into completing the "Tank Full" challenge. Because of this, I'll know by 2am, my time, with 100% certainty if it's not even hidden-available for Canadians.Well, this is too strange. I caught the Love's challenge last week in Ohio and when I checked my challenges the tankful challenge was there. After completing the Love's challenge I rechecked my challenges expecting to see 1/2 of the tankful but it was gone. Today in NY I caught the Gulf on in Niagara Falls and the tankful started out as 1/2. After completing the Gulf, I got "2 challenges completed" and snagged the 1000 + 400 Gulf for a nice day. So maybe it only works with special reviews not regular reviews?   Who knows? |

Sam's Club Challenge: I clicked it and got my 1000 points, but no options to join Sam's or whatever, which I wasn't going to do anyway because I'm a Costco member.
