But there's no denying the Pats D put the offense in a bad position at the end of the game down a score with 2 minutes left with pass only options. Who denied it? I see no hands raised. Sounds to me more like a Pats fan wanting to lay blame on the D and ignore the fact that either Brady or the O-line are just as guilty. The D, while complicit, did not force Brady to make the poor judgement of stepping up in the pocket which was obviously collapsing right in front of him.

I'm sorry did I mention you? It was a general statement. I just don't look at one play determining a game. Unlike some who whine on about a missed catch or a refs call.

There are times when a single play determines a game. However, I can respect that one may be of the opinion that the whole of the game is more telling because I also believe that to be true.
In the case of the Pats loss, I’m not totally sold on sole blame of rhe D.

Don't know fresh, but TB's slippery fingers cost them a looooong reception.
Duron Harmon tried to sneak in ganga into Costa Rica. Doesn't he know that he can buy all he wants whenever he get's there? Goddell shall punish him, maybe after NE does.

Good afternoon, folks! Not football season anytime soon, but here's hoping to some positive news coming to the Patriots soon enough. It was a foregone conclusion that Lewis and Butler would be gone. Solder is a huge hole to fill.

Why do they call it dope? Just look at Harmon eh?
Johnny football? No thanks.
I agree Smitty. Solder is the one guy they haven't really replaced so far. Garcia was lost the whole year last year so this will be his rookie year and he's coming off a serious illness that took the whole year to deal with. Waddle is good not great. Even if they get a stud in the draft left tackle isn't the place you'd want a rook eh?

And I've never said the D was the sole reason they lost. They put the offense in a bad position at the end of the game by not forcing them to punt in the second half. There were just no third down stops to turn the ball back to the O. Defense means not letting the other team score. Or at least limiting them. LOL Which the Pats D did not do.

I think the Patriots know they need to draft a QB. Why they are talking to Manziel I do not know, but I do recall them bringing in that other bum that left football to play baseball. Name escapes me, but hopefully I'm sure you know who I mean...supposedly was a virgin through college? Doubt that, but it probably made him a much better football player? LOL

I've got only going on 26 years of marriage, and I've never been as big as I am now. Makes plenty of sense. LOL

So Gronk may be back? But only if Brady comes back. Will they both consider coming back if BB is back? I'm starting to think there is a lot more to a possible rift than anyone wants to talk about. I'm still assuming they are all back, just know Amendola isn't. And the Patriots need to draft a QB.

39 years for me this year! And yep the Pats need to draft Brady's replaces just like the Steelers need to draft Ben's replacement.
