So this weekend one of the tenants I'm evicting was walking/running down the street shouting "God Is Coming" "We're All Gonna Die". "Nobody Is ****ing Listening" "Capitalism Is A Sin" "The World Is On Fire" and more.
Their daughters were crying and yelling for them to stop and come back home.
They were captured by police Completely Naked a block away shouting more of their crazy thoughts.
Seems they were posting crazy religious, political and global warming related stuff on their Facebook account weeks before they snapped.
This is just 1 of 3 crazy people I encountered this weekend.

Made my quarterly pdoc visit this morning. Told her I was taking melatonin to sleep because I'm largely immune to the drowsiness-inducing characteristics of trazodone. She concurred on the melatonin but to continue the trazodone as it's a pretty good antidepressant. Not going to break me up because it's $2.64 delivered for ninety doses. She scheduled me for the next appointment in three months. We spent most of the visit talking about my enlarged prostate. She was kind of surprised that I had outpatient surgery, but it was minimally invasive surgery. She'd never heard of UroLift, my internist hadn't either. It's essentially stenting open the prostate with a stainless steel and Nitinol stent. Works quite well, sped up my urination rate significantly and cut down my retained urine by an order of magnitude. One more appointment and then I go on Medicare which she does take. She's out of network with BC&BS. Going to need to contact her for some itemized bills for 2019 as I've had enough out of network care to make it past the out of network deductible.

What is the Out of Network deductable? Mine is something like $2500 but suppose to change next year. But I may switch companies as my primary care doc might take Cigna healthcare. Much better Medicare Advantage than what I have.

Much better Medicare Advantage than what I have. Mine is $800. But next year after April, I switch to a plan that doesn't have networks from which I understand.

In the case of the Santa Fe, TX school shooter, they have had three psychological teams (prosecution, defense, court system) looking at the admitted shooter. They are in agreement that the shooter is not capable of standing trial. So, off to the loony bin to medicate him to the point where the shooter can participate in his own defense (such as it would be).

If he can afford the top defense lawyers he may never face trial as they can convince one judge somewhere in Texas (think campaign contributions) who will say he did not know what he was doing.

Another school shooting, this time in California. This time, it was the shooter’s sixteenth birthday. Nothing like having your birthday go out with a bang! (Groan)

(Groan) And California already has the strictest gun laws in the country. How do we get the guns out of the hands of those with mental health issues? Where there signs of this? Many mass shootings have been stopped when people "see something and say something."

An up to 120-day stay at North Texas State Hospital in Vernon. After that, they will determine how to proceed.
