How could we miss World Blood Donor Day? Not going to donate today, though. I have donated in the past on World Blood Donor Day.

We're nearly halfway through the month of June (we'll be halfway through at midnight), and nobody has commented that June is National Men’s Health Month?

Went to see my internist this morning. Blood pressure was down significantly. He prescribed a 90-day refill on my Coreg. It was $6 for a thirty day fill an $7 for a ninety day fill. Probably most of the cost is record keeping.

Appropriately enough, today is the tenth anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. Probably the biggest reason you shouldn't use propofol as a sleeping medication! You may sleep permanently!

Had a local health system (Memorial Hermann) accidentally E-mail about 700 pieces of patient information to an external sender who was not authorized to get the data. June 8th, I was at a Memorial Hermann facility. I was a bit concerned when this came up on the local news. Turns out it was mailed out on June 3rd.

The bill for June's hospital visit finally caught up with me. In the hospital's infinite billing office wisdom, they first sent the bill to my address in 2011. I would think they would get things straight because I was in there from my current address in 2017. They gave me the option to split the bill over two months, but I went ahead and paid it in full. It was only for $100, didn't see any great advantage to paying $50 now and $50 in thirty days.
