There are still Dark-Eyed Juncos here this morning, but I expect them to leave soon for their breeding grounds.

I've been watching a downy woodpecker feeding on a suet block, and just noticed a pair of butterflies fluttering around in the sun. I had to look up what variety using Google. They are Red Admirals.

I saw Dark-Eyed Juncos on Monday morning, but not yesterday. Of course, it rained a lot yesterday, so today should tell me if they if they have left.

I didn't see any Dark-Eyed Juncos during the day yesterday, but there was a lone one outside my window this morning. Straggler?
