Wondered if I could buy everything I want at HEB with $44.00.
Went out to the HEB Website and keyed in what I wanted. Found at the Curbside price I only wanted $36 worth of groceries. They are about $0.10/item cheaper if you go into the store and pick them out yourself, which is what I plan to do.
Just a bit less than ten hours left in the rehabilitation facility.

Good Morning, All. Pfizer and Fluad side effects about as expected. Both arms are fine. The worst parts were the all-night fever dreams. This morning I just feel fuzzy headed and achy. Could be worse! I guess that means the vaccine is doing what it was designed to do.
Sneakers, I never knew that grocery items were cheaper if you actually go into the store. I'll have to check to see if that's true here too. According to my "careless" calculations, you have 3 more hours to enjoy the rehab center's hospitality.
Morning, Uncle. Any chance you'll find another bowler to fill in for your injured teammate, or are you satisfied being short a person, but getting the allotted points? The games must go faster and you have less time to wait between frames.
Hi, Patty. good luck with your computer drives. Wish I could help, but I have no clue.
Morning, soutxed. Hope you get some info about your x-ray. It's the same here. The radiologist has to read the x-ray to make it official.
I'll never win an award for today's posts, but I should be back to normal (such as it is) by tomorrow.

Of course it's cheaper to pick stuff yourself as compared to having a store employee do it for you.According to my "careless" calculations, you have 3 more hours to enjoy the rehab center's hospitality. I have a little bit less than two hours right now. They will bring me breakfast in about 45 minutes.

Found one thing on the HEB Website: The 18-ounce package of Stouffer's Meat Lovers' Lasagna is down to $4.85 (it was $5.39 when I last shopped). So, we have a little price deflation going on.

Patty--A friend of ours quit seeing doctors here as he and his wife had similar issues. Also, the PCP they liked lost his hospital privileges and retired. They go to the charity clinic but pay through their medical insurance. Another problem here in South Texas are the lawsuits. RGV is considered the lawsuit capital of Texas and doctors/hospitals are sued the most. AAA is in every state that I know of. Sneakers is right that in Houston the medical services are a lot better. CPOD was mentioned.
Sneakers--Hopefully by the time you read this you are home. (Or at HEB). Did AJ get the car fixed?
Lorando--I use to have a reaction to the flu shot, once In was sick for nearly a month. Probably used 10-12 sick days. Principal asked why I didn't take a flu shot and I said I did and that is why I'm sick. Saved 5 years of worship services, wow.
Uncle--When I push it at the gym I do have some issues, but only for a minute or two. That's normal. My pulse raises to 100+. Saw an story about school buses having cameras that record those cars that pass it while stopped and the photo with license plate number sent to police. In Miami, in one week PD issued 40,000 tickets. Wow. So far, we haven't had a student fatality in the valley.
Sunday night I found the X-Ray report on my portal with the hospital. Called the doctor to find out they still haven't received it. So printed out one and took it to the doctor. Hope to hear from them. Also I will get a referral to a cardiologist.
Yesterday and I felt good and had no incidents. Scheduled for three football games and a 9th grade volleyball game. Hope I can make it but I think I can. At least I sit for the entire games. Volleyball is just putting up the score.
Truck started this morning. So I could move it to make it easier to get the garbage can to the street.
One other bit of good news. The city came out yesterday and put a stake in our front hard. Then the man took a picture. Decided to ask what was going on and he said the city will be installing a streetlight. We have needed one for a long time. It will be solar.
Everyone have a good day.

Still in the rehab facility. AJ was at home; he's headed this way. Not yet packed but I'm crippled up enough and it won't take a long time to pack up everything. Fortunately. he wasn't here at 9:30 AM because I was still in the restroom after breakfast.
I don't know if he's fixed the Escape. He said a head gasket, then a water pump, and finally a freeze plug. At least his repairs are getting cheaper as he homes in.

Went to HEB and had a Harris County Constable assist me to to the scooter because I don't move that well.

Sneakers: A quick note --- Glad that you are finally discharged. Also, I thought that you had an appointment with Dr. Clause today. Not that I am keeping track of your appointments, but I know that you stated that the appointment was in the early morning hours of the day you were getting discharged.
Have a great day Everyone.

My housemates did some cleaning in the bedroom and the business room while I was gone. In the bedroom, they unplugged a number of things. First, the Amazon Echo Dot was unplugged. Second, the Amazon Smart Plug that my nightlight is connected to was unplugged. Got everything plugged back in and working. While I was in the bedroom, I tossed the crummy nursing home disposable diaper and put on a pair of Amazon Basics Protective Underwear. Much more comfortable and they stay up until you pull them down.
Got boxes of mail that has accumulated since the last week in July. Plan to do a lot of shredding and tossing.

Slept most of the day Monday. Stayed up all night Tuesday morning. Starting to get tired. Should have no trouble sleeping in my own bed except I've been sleeping close to three months in other beds. Went in my bedroom about noon. My housemates cleaned the room but didn't plug anything in. I had to plug in my Amazon Echo Dot and the Amazon Smart Plug for my nightlight. Also removed and replaced the crummy nursing home disposable diaper.
Been looking at the Lenovo Web site. They have all sorts of financing options, including a lease-to-own program. I figure I'll be buying about a $1000 machine given the configuration options. One of my cost-drivers is a terabyte of storage.
We're going to have the default meal (frozen pizza) tonight.
Got boxes of accumulated mail to go through.

Can’t seem to find anything. Now on an iPad that AJ was using. It hadn’t been updated in over a year. Got it updated now. Should be able to pay bills.
