Have a bicycle? Like to spin those pedals? Talk about your rides, where you post your rides. Brag about epic rides you did, or are planning to do. Include mileage, weather conditions, etc. Make recommendations for bike parts, websites relating to bikes, any professional coaches you've had in person or on Trainingpeaks... etc etc....

No. It has been a yucky day today with snow, freezing rain, and rain. Not very conducive for a bike ride or at least not a nice one.

AWesome topic sjambok! I too was thinking about starting a thread, and implying that it was a place to talk about your ride, not to come in every day and say No. I rode today, just so I could get over 100 miles for the week. Week ends on Sunday. Rode 3.5 miles around the neighborhood, temp was 36°F, dark cloudy skies, and a breeze.

Yes, I try and ride any chance I can. The problem is that I can't stand being on a trainer so I use the fat bike through most of the winter. If it's super cold or snowy, that's no problem. When it gets mucky, then I might skip it.

Yes, I rode 19 easy (oluolu) miles today. I was slated for a rest day, but had 3 of them last week, and there's rain forecast for at least 3 days this week. I don't mind riding, but not STARTING in the rain.

My bike is still hanging in the garage, waiting for spring. Maybe I'll get it down later this week as the warmer weather shows and get it ready. Lots of sand on the streets here though.

Yes! 4 times. 6.7 miles to the International Diabetes Center for Study appt #2.6.x miles back to downtown to catch a bus homeward. And then 6.0 miles home with the temperature at 38°F, blue skies and a tail wind.
Isn't rain always in the forecast there sjambok?
I don't ride in mucky conditions either signfool. Love your avatar!

I'm getting soooo tired of the crappy weather we've got in the Midwest. Looking forward to getting some time on my roadie. Until then, we'll tough it out on the fatty.

How many people ride their mountain bikes on pavement... bad idea? I'm sure the knobby dirt tires will tire you out faster than road tires on pavement... ?
