Extra Canadian Points this past week/month ??

GB1 was able to find an extra 1,000 points today in addition to his 6k Monthly Bonus Points.

GB2 was able to find an extra 1,000 points today (he already rcvd his weekly bonus on Monday)

GB3, & GB4 couldn't find any extra points again today!

With this weeks "Special Challenge" on Tuesday ( As I indicated on my Special Challenge Post ), some users have tricked the system by clicking only TWICE instead of 3 times likes the rest of us probably did and thus are keeping the Special Challenge on their phones so they can click again another day (or two, or three, TBD).

The below 4 users from the Gas Buddy web site have done this two-click trick to only get 2,000 special challenge points on Tuesday (instead of 3,000 points).
They then double-clicked the Special Challenge again on Wed for another 2,000 points (now totaling 4,000 points).

Tomorrow, they will again, only click it two times for another 2,000 points (6,000 total for the week).





GB2 & GB4 earned their monthly challenge bonus of 6,000 points on the 1st day of the month (yeah, I'm shaking my head too and throwing the BS flag for posting 100 diesel prices on Tuesday but whatever).  They then earned the 2,025 normal points + the 2,000 "Special Challenge" points for the total showing of 10,025 points.

GB3 was back earning his extra 200 points on Monday, as is shown in his Monday purple points total of 3,325 points.
His points summary is:  2,025 for normal earning, 1,000 for the weekly bonus (report 20 mid-grade prices), 100 points for the weekly poll...and his special 200 points that he magically pulls out of his A*# over and over again. 
(I really wish he would come explain how he gets his extra 200 points on a consistent basis or he can PM me!).

The "Special Challenge" ( As I indicated on my Special Challenge Post ) clickery is still going on.

All 4 GB's keep double-clicking the Special Challenge that was put out on Tuesday and earning an extra 2,000 points per day (8,000 total for the week).



GB1 added his 1,000 weekly points bonus to Friday's total - for a total of 5,025 points for Friday

Looking back in history...it appears that GB3 (a member here from the Vancouver, British Columbia GB site) first came across this trick the Week of Dec 19, 2021.
He used this trick for two weeks and then probably shared it with GB2 and then a week later, GB1 got in on the action.

They've been doing this every week that the 3 click Special Challenge comes up.

GB4 is a new addition after another member here alerted me on GB that he too has been climbing up the All-Time Leaderboard and just passing long-time members earning the max points per day, with ease.

GB1 - I noted that you haven't yet got your 100 poll points for the week??  Don't forget to get them Saturday!  You're welcome!

Come on GB#3...You can do it...

All 4 GB's keep double-clicking the Special Challenge that was put out on Tuesday and earning an extra 2,000 points per day (10,000+ total for the week).



GB1 flexed out and earned 5,025 points today - I don't know if this means he's done for the week?  And even though GB1 is 81k points ahead of his next victim...if this extra point clickery on the Special Challenge keeps up...he'll take over his next spot on the All-Time Leaderboard within 8-10 weeks!

GB1 still needs to get his 100 points Poll Points...5 more minutes!

GB3 (a member here from the Vancouver, British Columbia GB site) who started all of this clickery on the Special Challenge back in December has not yet finished out the day as he's only at 3,025 for the day (then again...it's midnight here on the East Coast - out in British Columbia he's got a few more hours to complete another 1,000 or close out the week like GB1 did.  Then again, he could always change the time on his phone - as he and others have done in the past if they forgot to earn a challenge during a particular time.

I see the Canadians got their St. Paddy's day points on Sunday!
I guess Gas Buddy kept you in the St. Paddy's day points loops.

Otherwise, so far this week...it's been all quiet on the Canadian Front. No extra points earning this week.

Except GB#3!

Today, he earned his extra 200 Canadian only points!
I'm surprised he has not shared this tip/trick with GB1, GB2, or GB4.
Maybe it's only available up there in British Columbia/Vancouver???
